About me

Christoffer Klarskov Jakobsen

Intro

Hi, my name is Christoffer Klarskov Jakobsen. I am passionate about Microsoft and have been working exclusively with Microsoft technologies for a number of years. My goal with this website is to create my own personal space where I can share my experience with design, implementation and troubleshooting of Microsoft technologies.

Private

I am married and the father of 2 sweet children. My family gets a good deal of my attention, so it can sometimes be difficult to balance the time between work, family and my passion for Microsoft. I have played drums for over 20 years. I try to play a little golf when I have some spare time. I am very into cars, especially Mercedes.

Occupation

I work for Fellowmind in Denmark, where my daily work consists of helping customers with the design of Azure solutions. I also implement the solutions I design and then deliver them to our operations department. I advise within Azure, Azure Local, Azure DevOps, and Microsoft 365. I continuously develop scripts for automating everyday tasks, where I use PowerShell and Bicep. I work in Azure DevOps where I build my pipelines and distribute my code to the solutions I deploy and maintain.

Microsoft passion

I have a great interest in Azure, especially modernization projects from old-fashioned IT (legacy IT) on VMs to platform services (PaaS or SaaS). I have worked with Microsoft 365 for many years and through this have also built up a great deal of knowledge in working with identities, devices and protection of these. In recent years, my focus has started to shift more towards security and automation, especially Entra ID and Azure DevOps. Over the past year, my focus has shifted significantly towards Infrastructure as Code (IaC), where I develop on the Fellowmind Managed Platform — an internal product at Fellowmind built on Azure DevOps using PowerShell, Bicep, JSON and YAML. Azure and IaC are now my primary focus areas, alongside Azure Local, where I still hold deep expert knowledge and continue to publish articles. Through my work at Fellowmind, every two weeks I hold training sessions for other consultants in Fellowmind. Each session touches on a new topic within Microsoft. This work is something I look forward to every time, because I enjoy sharing experience, building knowledge, strengthening skills and spreading the joy of Microsoft technology.
